At the age of 18, Roel Dellafaillie – aka Roots Pressure – caught the reggae virus. This happened after his first visit to – you guessed it – Reggae Geel. Shortly after he started playing records himself. Initially together with Patrick Crikemans as Roots & Pressure, but nowadays solo as Roots Pressure.

Roel is a passionate collector of vinyl who often organises his own Roots & Culture nights. In 2015 he created his own eco/fairtrade clothing collection. He’s the manager of the merchandising of Reggae.be, where he once in a while posts reviews of one of many dub events he attends.
