Ensemble National de Reggae (E.N.R.) are a roaming reggae band from France that treat the whole festival site like their stage. Born in 2015, they flipped a simple idea into a real signature: take the biggest reggae standards, add brass firepower, keep the groove tight… and keep walking.
What makes E.N.R. hit is the closeness. There’s no distance between band and crowd, you’re inside it from the first chorus. One moment you’re grabbing a drink, the next you’re caught in a moving pocket of horns, drums and singalong energy, following them like a little parade.
Musically it’s foundation-heavy and instantly familiar: reggae classics, ska/rocksteady sweetness when it’s time to smile, and roots drive when they want the whole place skanking. It’s joyful, interactive, and built to turn random moments into core memories.
