Early bird ticket sales started Tuesday, March 1 and immediately sold out. On Friday, March 11 at 2.30pm a second early bird sale will take place, followed by the rest of online ticket sales. For more information, keep an eye on our website and social media.
Reggae Geel 2022 will be a special jubilee edition. On August 6, our country of inspiration, Jamaica celebrates 60 years of independence. All the more reason to give it some extra attention. Reggae Geel will organize a range of activities revolving around this anniversary, in cooperation with the Jamaican Embassy in Brussels. It will definitely be a year filled with surprises!
Nobody likes to wait in line. Luckily, from this year on you won’t have to anymore. The long waiting lines at the voucher registers belong to the past. Starting in April, you’ll be able to upload credit to your wristband to pay with it in the festival area. In addition, you’ll be able to upload credit to your wristband in the festival area itself, using the Payconig by Bancontact app. Do you have a non-Belgian nationality, or are you not that much of an Internet-savvy reggae lover? Then there’s also the top-up point at the former voucher register where you’ll be able to upload credit to your wristband with cash or debit card. In short: this year on the festival grounds you’ll only be able to pay with your wristband.
Do you not feel like dragging your tent, air mattress or camping gear to Reggae Geel? Just save yourself some trouble and book your FestiTent or Festipi in advance! Our hosts will make sure your 1-, 2- or 4 person tent will be completely ready for you upon arrival at the Reggae Geel campsite. There’s good news for the early birds amongst you. Our festival campsite will already open on Thursday, August 4 at 6pm. That Thursday evening you can join us at the One Love Tent near the camping site for our Free Pre-Party. Yes, that’s right: a free admission party!
We do everything in our power to make the festival area a sustainable environment so as to limit the amount of garbage and waste. That’s why from this year on we’ll only use environmentally friendly drinking cups. Another step closer to a healthier planet Earth!
